Christmas Weekend Hike

When people think of New York, they usually think of New York City and its five boroughs. Not many people know that if you venture even one hour outside of Manhattan, there are countless opportunities to be united with mother nature. After living in the city for the past year and a half, I've been lucky enough to know and experience what life is like outside of the concrete jungle.

J and I try to get out into the mountains every month or so. It gives us a chance to recharge and distance ourselves from the unruly urban metropolis, and experience a different kind of wild.

Here are a few snaps from our day.

The day started bright and early at Grand Central Station.
